The Integrative Biomedical Informatics group promote and tackle synergistic and integrative strategies for affording biomedical problems. More specifically, we develop bioinformatic approaches that help us understanding the mechanisms underlying human diseases and drug adverse reactions or toxicities. In this regard, we are interested in the identification of the functional modules that, when disrupted, lead to disease phenotypes or drug toxicities. We are also interested in novel strategies for integrative knowledge management and exploitation in the drug discovery and biomedical informatics field.
